Please make note of the "agreement" for registering.  You will have to "electronically" sign the agreement to complete registration and will be required to sign the same (paper) agreement during check-in at the event.  No admittance to the event can occur without the agreement being signed. 

Also, please be mindful of the refund policy (listed near the bottom of the Packages and Prices page).

 

 Note:  You must be 18 years old or older to attend Expansion.  There are events on the schedule that requires attendees to be 21 years of age or older. 

Also, if you are using your PayPal account to pay for a different attendee, please note that in the PayPal transaction under "Memo or Note to seller".  This will enable us to credit the payment to the correct registration.

All attendees will be required to electronically sign the agreement below before registering online and must physically sign the same when provided the agreement during check-in at the event.  No admittance to the event can occur without the form being signed at the event's registration.


  • I agree that Expansion: The Event is a PRIVATE function.
  • I understand and agree that Expansion has the right to refuse to register, allow admittance, participation or attendance of anyone.
  • I agree that if I register under false pretense I may be asked to leave the function, or not allowed to sign-in and will forfeit any pre-paid sums.
  • I am at least 18 years old.
  • I will not consume any alcoholic beverages provided by Expansion, Expansion attendees or consume alcoholic beverages at Expansion related events if I am under the age of 21 years old (as set-forth by law in the state of Louisiana).  Further, I agree that I will not purchase, sell, provide, or consume illegal drugs while attending Expansion.
  • I will not provide alcoholic beverages to anyone attending Expansion that is under the age of 21.
  • I agree that as a guest of the host hotel, either as a registered room holder or a non-room holder that I must obey the rules set-forth by host hotel and Expansion will not be involved in disputes between the host hotel and guests.
  • I understand that I am responsible for my own possessions, safety, and well-being.  Expansion: The Event, the Organizers or the hosts are not responsible for loss, theft, or injury.
  • I understand that each person attending Expansion is an individual and I will respect the space and the individuality of each.  I understand and respect “No Means No.”
  • I understand who Expansion was created for, agree that I am said person, and that I am free to participate, not participate, or leave the event at any time I deem appropriate.
  • I swear and affirm that I am not a reporter or private investigator (volunteer or professional), attending this event for the purposes of collecting information about any of the participants or the organizers; for the purpose of any investigation, or for the purpose of publication. I further understand and affirm that I will not disclose, in any format, in any manner, at any time; any information which includes or references any details or photographs from my attendance at this PRIVATE event. 
  • I understand that I can ask to be identified (via my Expansion Badge) as a registrant that does not want photographs taken of them.  If I am photographed in a group, Expansion will make every reasonable step to ensure that my privacy and wishes here are honored.  But ultimately, Expansion can not be held responsible for photos taken by participants.
  • I will respect the privacy of other attendees by getting permission of anyone that is in any photographs I take for personal use.  If I am unable to get permission directly, I will enlist the assistance of the Expansion host committee to obtain posting permission after the event.
  • I understand that I must have my Expansion Badge in my possession at all Expansion related events.
  • I understand that this agreement will be kept by Expansion and will remain private
  • I understand the refund policy of Expansion as set forth on the website.
  • I agree that if I break this agreement at anytime during Expansion that the Event Coordinator will have the right to ask me to leave Expansion without refund or recourse.
